This first quarter of the year has been a mixture of joy and pain here at Peace House.
1. Offering Comfort in Loss
We are deeply saddened that three of our Peace House boys lost their parents this quarter. We are incredibly thankful for the Peace House community, which rallied around these families to offer comfort and demonstrate the love of God during their time of grief.
2. Community and Compassion in Action
The community spirit within Peace House is growing stronger every day.
- Financial Support: Former members have committed to contributing 2,000 Rwf each to support current or former Peace House boys who are struggling. This collective effort shows beautiful unity.
- Visits to Incarcerated Members: Last Saturday, the group organized a visit. They sent a couple of boys with Jules to visit three Peace House boys who are currently in jail, demonstrating commitment and care for one another.
3. Spreading the Gospel Across the Country
Our Bible study groups are rapidly growing all over the country! For many in these communities, this is the very first time they are hearing the true gospel of Jesus Christ.
Prayer Request: Please pray that the gospel takes deep root in the hearts of those communities.
