Marty Koonce continues to work with Rwanda Taekwondo as Director of Sport Development for ATN-Rwanda. This is a great period of growth for this sport in Rwanda with now two thousand players and great victories at the 4th Korean Ambassadors Cup hosted by Rwanda Taekwondo and attended by more than two hundred competitors from four countries.
ATN-Rwanda also hosted its first Peace Cup Soccer Tournament in Bugesera. It had four participating teams from the area around ATN-Rwanda’s main property. It was held over a weekend and collaborated with the National Football (soccer) Federation for referees. It had almost one thousand spectators for the event and gave ATN a “high profile” opportunity to present itself to the greater community.
