We like to talk about Disciple Making Movement (DMM) and Discovery Bible Studies (DBS) in our reports from ATN Rwanda. Ministering with many church members and non-church goers, I have realized that many churches here in Rwanda don’t teach about the Great Commission! And there are others who believe that they are saved by their good deeds or those who are lost in the church buildings because of what they are fed with. I remember when I was agitated and met with Christine Crowson. I was introduced to DMM and finding a person of peace and my life was changed.
I met with Julienne, a faithful Christian who was looking for something different. I shared with her about DMM and finding a person of peace. She found many and one of them is Chantal who started a group in Jali where she met Elyse who has a group in Bweravura. And from Elyse we have Josephine’s group in Jabana. We continue to hear stories from these groups of people who are giving their lives to Jesus. We can’t keep track of the Jesus movement. He is always at work. And I have other similar stories like these. Thank you for your partnership in this Kingdom work.
We don’t celebrate the number of groups. Our hope and desire is that God continues to raise up the obedient disciples who will transform and redeem this nation.
