As many of you know, the consequences of this global pandemic are going to be many and lasting in this upcoming season. This is especially true for those we love, serve and work with in the impoverished communities that ATN-Rwanda serves. Many of those we serve live from hand to mouth and have been immediately affected.
Last week, ATN-Rwanda did a quick intervention by providing food for those most at risk amidst our network and we quickly discovered that many families are in a very critical situation. The government’s efforts to help are a drop in the sea, and they have asked those families that have to share and care for those that do not.
As Charlotte said today, “It is time for us to function like a church not an organization.”
